Greetings from the Barn, Hey, where in the world did summer go? Does it go by faster as you get older? Just wondering. The garden is still produceing tomatoes and I still have carrots to pull and can. Always a good feeling when winter comes around. We were blessed with some rain today and I know the ground just drank it in to its hearts content. Our corn crop doesn't look too good in places....so thankful that we planted more beans this year. God is so good and faithful. The shop is busy with fall items coming in and they seem to be going out fast too. We always appreciate your business when your thinking of decorating or buying a gift for someone. Fall is a fun season to decorate for. You start hibernating alittle more and staying in and it helps to have your home looking cozy and a comfort zone for your family. It is your retreat at the end of the day. We are still wanting photos of your decorating skills. You have a good chance of winning because not many photos have come in yet. There is a $50.00 gift certificate to the winner. Rules are on the yearly calender. I have already gotten my winter patterns out to start in the Merry and bright season......you know what I mean. We will be having our Christmas Thyme open house Nov. 26-27, day after Thanksgiving. Aunt Diane and I have already been swapping ideas for unique items and are always on the look out for one-of-a-kinds. Remember, some things we only make one of, so you will want to plan on coming out early. ....now back to fall. I hope you have a good fall and enjoy a hotdog roast with cider and some doughnuts...maybe have a hayride in the crest of the harvest moon. Don't forget to make up a batch of caremel corn. Sounds fun. Until then, blessings from the Barn, Shirley
